Where is the item number?
Inditex stores (Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Massimo Dutti, Oysho) print it on the price tag as three groups, like 5580/648/800. H&M prints a 7–10 digit article number on the tag. The barcode under it works with the camera.
